So that we can meet the needs of our residents both now and in the future when their needs may change, we provide different types of care at each of our homes, all staffed by specialist teams:
- Residential Care
- Specialist Dementia Care
- Nursing Care
We believe in individual, person-centred care and working with residents, their family and health professionals to deliver the right care and support to each person, respecting their choices about how they want to live. Not just for their medical and mobility care but also personal preferences such as the kinds of activities they enjoy, and how they like to be addressed. The dignity, happiness and well-being of our residents is paramount. There are no rigid routines, people have just the same choice and control over their lives that they had before coming to live with us. Our residents spend their days just how they choose – they decide what time they get up and go to bed, what they wear, what food they eat and any social activities they want to take part in.
Our activities team is made up of residents, families and staff who work together to put on a programme of stimulating, enjoyable activities for those who want them. Many older people are worried about losing touch with families and friends whenthey move into care, but our care homes area real part of the local community, and we encourage families and friends to join in with our events programme.
and we make the process free of charge, and simple.
